Iraz Alper

Biography

Iraz Alper holds an MSc in microbiology from Pierre & Marie Curie University (Paris, France) and a PhD in food science and technology from Laval University (Quebec City, Canada). She joined CNIEL, the French dairy interbranch organization, in 2013 and is in charge of the strategy definition, coordination and follow-up of research projects related to the field of dairy science and technology.
CNIEL’s objectives are to develop the economic, technical and scientific competitiveness of the French dairy sector and to promote a positive image of the dairy products and dairy professionals.

Iraz has been a member of the Dairy Science and Technology Standing Committee of the International Dairy Federation since 2014.
